SAFETY RULES

GOGGLES

  1. WEAR YOUR GOGGLES AT ALL TIMES EXCEPT UP HERE INSIDE THIS NETTED SAFETY AREA.
  2. IF YOU TAKE OFF YOUR GOGGLES OUTSIDE THE NETTED AREA YOU WILL BE SUSPENDED FOR 1-3 GAMES DEPENDING UPON HOW MUCH DANGER YOU WERE IN, SO KEEP THEM ON.
  3. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY LOSE YOU’RE YOUR GOGGLES DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RETRIEVE THEM.  DROP YOUR GUN IMMEDIATELY AND PLACE THE PALM OF YOUR HANDS OVER YOUR EYES AND DROP FACE DOWN ON THE GROUND AND START YELLING GOGGLES CONTINUOSLY UNTIL THE REFERY GETS TO YOU.
  4. IF YOUR PLAYING AND YOU HEAR SOMEONE YELLING GOGGLES STOP SHOOTING, STOP MOVING, GET YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER AND YELL GOGGLES LOUDLY TILL THE REF BLOWS THE HORN AND STOPS THE GAME.   WHEN THE REF BLOWS THE HORN EVERYONE EXCEPT THE PLAYER THAT NEEDS HELP STOPS YELLING.  THE PLAYER THAT NEEDS HELP CONTINUES TO YELL GOGGLES AND STAYS ON THE GROUND WITH EYES COVERED.  WHEN THE REF GET THERE HE WILL DIRECT THE PLAYER WHAT TO DO AND WILL REPLACE THEIR GOGGLES AND GET THE GAME RESTARTED.

3 GUN SAFETIES

  1. THERE ARE 3 SAFETYS THAT YOU NEED TO USE AT ALL TIMES EXCEPT WHEN YOU’RE PLAYING.  BARREL BAG, SAFETY SWITCH & FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER.  WHEN YOU’VE BEEN ELIMINATED OR THE GAME ENDS ENGAGE THE SAFETY SWITCH, PUT ON YOUR BARREL BAG AND CINCH IT DOWN TIGHTLY AND KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER.  NEVER BRING YOUR MARKER TO THE NETTED SAFETY AREA WITHOUT ALL 3 SAFETYS IN PLACE.
  2. IF YOU LOSE YOUR BARREL BAG SO YOU CAN’T PUT IT ON, DO NOT BRING YOUR GUN UP TO THE SAFETY AREA.  ENGAGE THE SAFETY AND CARRY WITH (YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER) TO THE FIELD BOUNDRY AND LEAN IT AGAINST A TREE AND COME UP TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TABLE AND GET ANOTHER BARREL BAG.  KEEP YOUR MASK ON AND GO RETRIEVE YOUR MARKER AND PULL THE BARREL BAG IN PLACE BEFORE STARTING UP THE PATH. THEN RETURN TO THE SAFETY AREA.      

SURRENDER RULE/CLOSE SHOOTING/BLIND SHOOTING

  1. IF YOU HAVE SOMEONE’S BACK AT 20’ OR LESS, ASK THEM TO SURRENDER.  IF THEY DON’T IMMEDIATELY GIVE UP SHOOT THEM UNTIL YOU SEE A PAINTBALL BREAK.  IF YOU ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO TAG SOMEONE DO NOT STICK YOUR GUN BARREL INTO THEM AND TELL THEM TO SURRENDER.  TAG THEM WITH YOUR HAND AND SAY YOUR OUT.  IF SOMEONE TAGS YOU THERE IS NO OPTION, YOU ARE OUT.
  2. AT ANYTIME A REF CAN YELL DON’T SHOOT AND ELIMINATE A PLAYER OR PLAYERS IF THEY ARE IN DANGER OF BEING SHOT AT CLOSE RANGE.
  3. NO BLIND SHOOTING!  IF YOU’RE TO AFRAID TO STICK YOUR HEAD AROUND AND CORNER OR TREE, DO NOT STICK YOUR GUN AROUND IT AND SHOOT AS YOU MIGHT ACCIDENTALLY SHOOT SOMEONE AT CLOSE RANGE.

FIELD RULES

  1. ALL PRIVATELY OWNED MARKERS MUST RADAR CHECK AT 280 FEET PER SECOND OR LESS ON 3 CONSECUTIVE SHOTS TO BE USED ON OUR FIELDS.  RENTAL GUNS HAVE ALREADY BEEN SET TO THAT STANDARD.
  2. THERE IS A YELLOW ROPE AROUND EACH PLAYING FIELD.  STAY IN THE DESIGNATED PLAYING FIELD OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
  3. ELIMINATED PLAYERS CANNOT TALK OR POINT TO ASSIST ACTIVE TEAMMATES OR GIVE AWAY THE POSITIONS OF AN ACTIVE OPPONENT.  THAT IS CHEATING AND WE WILL DISQUALIFY ALL OF YOUR TEAMMATES THAT MAY HAVE BENEFITED FROM YOUR ACTIONS.
  4. DO NOT WIPE OFF PAINT OR CHECK TO SEE IF A PAINTBALL BROKE ON YOU BY WIPING THE AREA WITH YOUR HAND, THE GROUND OR BRUSHING UP AGAINST A TREE OR BARRICADE.  THAT IS ALSO CHEATING AND YOU WILL BE ELIMINATED AND WILL HAVE TO SIT OUT AN ADDITIONAL GAME.
  5. IF YOU DUMP YOUR PAINTBALLS ON THE GROUND AND YOU ARE USING ONE OF OUR MARKERS, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PICK THEM UP AND USE THEM.  DUST AND DEBRIS WILL STICK TO THE PAINTBALL AND DAMAGE THE MARKER.  IF YOU ARE SEEN PICKING UP PAINTBALLS FROM THE GROUND AND PUTTING THEM INTO OUR MARKER, WE WILL CONFINSCATE THE MARKER.  IF YOUR MARKER JAMS AND WE PULL IT APART AND IF THERE IS DEBRIS IN THE CHAMBER, YOU WILL NOT GET THE MARKER BACK.  YOU WILL STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR SESSION, RENTAL AND PAINTBALLS AND YOU CAN CONTINUE TO PLAY, HOWEVER YOU WILL NOT HAVE A MARKER TO DEFEND YOURSELF.
  6. FIELD PAINT ONLY!!!  YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE PAINTBALLS NOT PURCHASED FROM US.
  7. DON’T CLIMB ANY TREES, DON’T SHOOT ANY ANIMALS THAT MIGHT WANDER ONTO THE FIELD.
  8. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EQUIPMENT YOU ARE RENTING OR BORROWING.  MAKE CERTAIN AT THE END OF THE SESSION THAT YOU HAND YOUR EQUIPMENT IN, DON’ T JUST SET IT ON A TABLE UNATTENDED.
  9. IF YOU LOSE AN ARMBAND OR BARREL BAG IT WILL COST YOU $3.  IF YOU FIND ONE, TURN IT IN AND GET PAID $3.

ELIMINATIONS AND PAINT CHECKS

  1. A PAINTBALL OR PAINTBALLS HAVE TO HIT YOU AND BREAK FOR YOU TO BE ELIMINATED.  IF IT OR THEY BOUNCE OFF AND DO NOT BREAK YOU ARE NOT OUT UNLESS YOU CALL YOURSELF OUT SO ALWAYS LOOK BEFORE YOU CALL YOURSELF OUT.
  2. IF A PAINTBALL BREAKS ON YOU OR YOUR GUN OR ANYTHING YOU ARE CARRYING OR MOVING WITH YOU, YOU ARE ELIMINATED.
  3. IF A PAINTBALL SPLATTERS OFF OF A TREE OR BARRICADE AND LANDS ON YOU IT MUST LEAVE A QUARTER SIZE SPOT OR A LONG LINE OF PAINT TO ELIMINATE YOU.  IF YOU ARE NOT CERTAIN IF THERE IS ENOUGH PAINT FROM A SPLATTER TO ELIMINATE YOU OR YOU’RE SHOT SOMEPLACE YOU CANNOT SEE, YOU NEED TO CALL FOR A PAINT CHECK EVERY FEW SECONDS AND KEEP ON PLAYING THE GAME AND DEFENDING YOURSELF UNTIL A REFEREY CAN GET TO YOU AND LOOK YOU OVER.
  4. IF YOU ARE UNDER HEAVY FIRE THE REF WILL RAISE HIS ARM AND CALL YOU NEUTRAL.  EVERYBODY MUST STOP SHOOTING AND MOVING TO GAIN ADVANTAGE ON THE PAINT CHECK PLAYER AND THAT PLAYER ALSO CANNOT MOVE OR SHOOT.  THE REFERIE WILL EITHER CALL THE PLAYER OUT OR CLEAN.  IF THE PLAYER IS CLEAN THE REF WILL SAY 3,2,1, GO!  WHILE STEPPING AWAY AND RESTART THE ACTION.  NO MOVING OR SHOOTING UNIL THE REF SAYS GO.  THE PAINTCHECK ONLY AFFECTS THE PAINTCHECK PLAYER AND YOU CAN CONTINUE TO MOVE AND SHOOT AT ALL OTHER PLAYERS.

FLAG RULES

WHEN CARRYING THE FLAG YOU MUST CARRY IT IN THE OPEN SO OTHERS CAN SEE IT.  IF YOU ARE ELIMINATED WHILE CARRYING THE FLAG YOU MUST DROP IT IMMEDIATELY AND NOT ADVANCE OR HAND IT OFF TO ANOTHER PLAYER.  IF THERE IS NO ONE NEARBY TO RECOVER THE FLAG YOU MUST HANG IT ON A TREE OR BARRIGADE SO IT CAN BE FOUND.
